The Art of the Handwritten Note

I was reading today in the book "The Art of the Handwritten Note: A Guide to Reclaiming Civilized Communication" by Margaret Shepherd.

Margaret makes many terrific points regarding the importance of handwritten notes. One point she makes I found very interesting. She states that she almost always hears someone say, "It's a dying art." "Wrong!", Margaret replies. "It's healthier than ever, but certainly it is an art, because it brings out the best in both the person who creates it and the person who looks at it." Margaret's Book

I can't agree enough with Margaret on that.  I will take it a step further to say that it is a "Lost Art", because so people rarely write anymore. Especially in business where handwritten notes are encouraged by every industry expert as a "Must Do!", because they work!

So why a "Lost Art?" Because it takes time that people just don't have. However, the time investment will more than pay off in the long run, but its just not done.

That's why we created Noterrific.com. Noterrific makes it quick and easy to implement this "Lost Art" in your business. You'll see first hand as many of our clients have experienced for themselves, that in a business climate of tough competition, it provides a way to stand apart from your competitors while making a positive and lasting impression.

So, invest just a couple more minutes in your business and take a quick read about "Keeping in Contact"
